I built this project to let users catalog, plan, and revisit movie collections without relying on streaming platforms. The goal was to create a comprehensive offline movie management system that allows users to organize their personal movie library and create custom storyboards.
Target Users/Market
Movie lovers, creatives, cinephiles, and film students who want to maintain their own movie collections, create storyboards, and organize their viewing experiences without depending on external streaming services.
Challenges Faced
Building a dynamic Canvas-style board; ensuring everything works offline; creating intuitive templates for custom storyboarding; designing a system that can handle both movie cataloging and creative storyboarding workflows.
Successes Achieved
Defined clear categories like Vaults and Spotlights, and created templates for custom storyboarding. Successfully designed a modular system that combines movie cataloging with creative storyboarding tools, all functioning completely offline.
